                         HAMSTERS

Hamsters are good beginner pets, as they are fairly easy to care for. They often have docile temperaments and have relatively clean habits. Hamsters are friendly and when handled often, they become quite tame. They are delightful to watch as they go about their daily housekeeping, food storing and exercise on their Wheel.

CATS

Monday, 20th October

                                 CATS

Cats are similar in anatomy to the other felines, with strong, flexible bodies, quick reflexes, sharp retractable claws, and teeth adapted to killing small prey.
Cats can hear sounds too faint or too high in frequency for human ears, such as those made by mice and other small animals.
They can see in near darkness.
Like most other mammals, cats have poorer colour vision and a better sense of smell than humans.
